Enter the Catalog Pages

Welcome to the Aurora Model Catalog Pages.   From here you can navigate to a thumbnails page featuring the cover images of Aurora Catalogs published from the 1950's thru the 70's.  From cover to cover every Aurora Models catalog is available from 1959 to 1977 for your viewing pleasure.  We have a few from the 1950's and are working on completeing the rest from 1950 to 1959.   Just click on the pile of catalogs above and when you arrive at the thumbnails page just select the catalog you wish to view.  You can navigate the pages one at a time or by the click-able Table of Contents we have created for you.

I have written comments for each catalog with interesting facts and noting changes that took place from year to year.  A wealth of Aurora Hobby information at a mouse click with over 20 annual catalogs  plus several more specialty catalogs and supplements totaling over 30 different unique catalogs.  Find out for your self when your favorite Aurora hobby kit first appeared and when it was later modified or discontinued.  WWI & WWII planes, battleships, carriers, tanks, sailing ships, sports cars, monsters, superheroes, knights, wildlife, electronic kits, etc.  Most every plastic assembly kit Aurora ever produced is in this vast collection of Aurora lierature.

Be sure to check out the early 1970's 40 page European catalog at the bottom of the thumbnails page.  It features some kits and variations never produced in the USA.  Also note the special dealers  specialty order catalogs towards the bottom.  Some really cool stuff there.

We welcome you to let us know what you  think about or to offer any suggestions that may improve the pages.   And please, if you have any catalog in your collection that you do not see here and wish to share it with everyone, just drop me an email. We'll list you in the recognition credits for providing us with the images as we have others that have assisted  the cause.  Currently we are searching for more 1950's catalogs,  brochures and any specialty/dealer supplements through 1977.   Also any foreign issues from Europe, Canada, etc.

Due to site space constraints we must apologize that all fine print on the pages may not be readable.   We may offer in the future high resolution scans of the collection on cd's.   Let us know if interested.

Special Thanks!!

At the time this site was created in 1998 I had only about half the catalogs in my collection.  Here at The Space Station our Station Commander, Claude Switzer and myself wish to thank these fellow Aurora Model enthusiasts and collectors for providing us with catalogs or images so this section of the site could be accomplished more quickly.

Bob Frongillo ---Mr. Frongillo loaned us several several full catalogs including the European issue and many of the scarce full color speacialty dealer supplements.

Dr. G---Contributed images of his 1963 and '64 catalogs.

Shane Johnson---Loaned us his 1969 & '76 catalogs to scan.

Thanks to all for your support!!

Keith Meyer (site owner) and Claude Switzer III (Space Station Commander)
