#6351 CAPTAIN LAZER
FIREBOLT SPACE CANNON ACTION SET
Copyright 1968--first year available 1969
I have never owned this set. In fact, this is
the only set that I've never even seen a photograph of. The stock number is from a Mattel
dealer's catalog that John Eaton has a copy of and from a person that owns one, but is
unable to provide a photo.
I've been told the box has Captain Lazer standing by
the Space Cannon. Bill Ystrom of Chicago recalls having a boxed set that came with a
Captain Lazer and a Space Cannon. He says there was nothing else in the box. This seems to
be the set he has described to me. Not to be confused with the Firebolt Space Cannon Super
Action Set #6341, that included a Major Matt Mason and Sgt. Storm
figures along with Capt. Lazer and Cannon and a Cat Trac, etc.

COMMENTS:
Again I mention, with the exception of Larry Chinn's Astro Trac Gift Set #8178, that I've only seen in photos, This Captain Lazer Set is the
only Major Matt Mason Box I've never held in my own hands. This really frustrates me.
Anyone have one out there for sale? Or that would at least share some photos and info?
