#6344 SPACE POWER
SUIT
Copyright 1968--first year available 1969
The
Space Power suit provided a portable power environment for planet work. It sported a
protective transparent "blue" vista dome with a micro - electron control
console. This device molded in "white" plastic would house one astronaut that
would operate the remotely controlled power claw and telescoping hammer.
Operated by two "yellow"
bellows that when squeezed and released would operate the hammer and claw. This
contraption is great for breaking up rocks and retrieving samples. Could also be used to
tunnel under the surface. A pair of gravity boosters also molded in "white"
plastic, attach to the astronauts boots. Keeping him on his feet as he works. Comes with
decals for the control panel and environment controls.
